Inspired by the textures and tones of the beach and bushland around Sydney: the ocean, the gumtrees, the sand, the rock formations. Each piece is an exploration and expression of a sensory journey, painting what I feel rather than what I see. The finished paintings are highly textural, tonal and layered.
